We send the amount straight to the account that was used to earn the Reward, or to the oldest account in case of the monthly Reward. 💳

💡 Note: Business accounts are excluded from our Rewards program (for legal reasons). 

This € 1 minimum limit is due to technical reasons. We are currently working to remove this constraint as soon as possible. We know you’ve earned it and are entitled to receive it, irrespective of the amount.

Claim your Rewards

The first time you earn a Reward, you will need to claim it in the app by providing your personal identity details. 📱

As we are licensed financial institution (under the supervision of the National Bank of Belgium), we are required to perform an identity check. * It's important to highlight that we don't get access to your identity data via the bank, and are required - by law - to perform this check as part of the anti-money laundering legislation.

Step 1. Tap on the “Claim your Rewards” button on your home screen.

Step 2. Take a picture of your identity card. 📸

The app will ask you to take a picture of your identity card and to validate your credentials data. This might seem a bit annoying but it is an obligation that the National Bank of Belgium imposes to payment institutions like Cake.

Step 3. The money will now be transferred into your account.

We do our very best to complete the transfer instantly, but we can’t guarantee it will appear on your account balance the same working day. ⚡ How fast your money is credited to your account largely depends on your bank.

Remember that our commercial partners don't have access to the individual identity of our users. 🔐 All payments are securely performed by Cake.

Once you have claimed your Rewards for the first time, all future Rewards are automagically transferred to your bank account (each time the €1 minimum is reached). You won’t need to do anything else to get them. It really is a piece of Cake! 🍰
